The Festa di Maria SS. Addolorata is the most important event in Castelpetroso, a town in the province of Isernia. Devotion to the Addolorata, linked to the apparitions of 1888 and the monumental neo-Gothic Sanctuary, makes this village a spiritual reference point for the entire Molise region.
