The Festa Contadina di Mardimago takes place in the hamlet of the same name in Rovigo, on Viale dei Mille, and is one of the most established village festivals in the Polesine region. Organized by the La Zampogna group with the patronage of the Municipality of Rovigo, it stands out for its long duration, making it a meeting point for the entire community over several weeks.
Food, dancing, and fun
The heart of the festival is the food stand, with a pizzeria and restaurant offering a menu ranging from first courses to grilled dishes, accompanied by themed evenings dedicated to specialties like paella and Catalan dishes. Dancing evenings with orchestras liven up the festival every night, in the true spirit of a village festival of the Veronese and Polesine areas.

After the 36th edition in 2025 (June 19 – July 7), the Festa Contadina di Mardimago returns in 2026 for its 37th edition, expected between June and July. The formula remains the tried and tested one: a food stand with pizzeria and restaurant, dancing evenings with orchestras, themed evenings with specialties, and a charity raffle to support the hamlet's kindergarten.
