The 'penne nere' celebrate
The Festa Alpini di Ghisalba is one of the most cherished events in the summer calendar of the Bassa Bergamasca. Organized by the local Alpini Group, part of the Bergamo section of the National Alpini Association, it takes place at the Area Feste on via degli Albarelli, in the Municipality of Ghisalba, province of Bergamo.
Two weekends of conviviality
The event spans two weekends in June, offering open kitchens every evening and, on holidays, also for lunch. The gastronomic offerings are the generous ones typical of Alpine festivals: grilled dishes, pizzas, first courses, draft beer, and desserts, served under the covered area. There are also tombola games and evening musical entertainment, with orchestras and bands animating the dancing evenings.
A tradition of solidarity
Like all Alpini festivals, the Ghisalba event also has a heart of solidarity: the proceeds support the Group's activities and the numerous charitable initiatives of the 'penne nere' in the area. Participating therefore means not only enjoying excellent food and having fun but also contributing to a network of volunteers that has been a beacon of solidarity in the Bergamasca community for decades.

In 2026, the Festa Alpini di Ghisalba celebrates its sixteenth edition, spread over two weekends: June 5-6-7 and June 12-13-14. At the Area Feste on via degli Albarelli 2, the Alpini Group offers an open kitchen every evening, with grilled dishes, pizzas, draft beer, and desserts, accompanied by tombola games and musical entertainment.
An event that combines good food, fun, and the typical spirit of solidarity of the 'penne nere'.

How to get there
Ghisalba is located in the Bassa Bergamasca, along the SS498 between Bergamo and Romano di Lombardia. By car, take the Bergamo exit from the A4 motorway and then follow the SS498; by train, take the Bergamo-Cremona line.

Kitchen open every evening, and also for lunch on holidays. Free admission; food and drinks payable.
