Felline Meatball Festival

The 2025 edition of the Felline Meatball Festival confirmed the success of one of the most identity-defining festivals in lower Salento. In the heart of the village of Felline, in Alliste (Lecce), the food stands offered the famous meatballs in all their variations: in sauce, fried, horse meat, pork, and eggplant, served with pecorino cheese and the flavors of the Apulian tradition.

As every year, the festival combined taste and popular culture: the narrow streets of the historic center and the small square of the medieval castle provided the setting for evenings of pizzica and Salento music, attracting visitors from all over the province. The event, organized by the Pro Loco Alliste Felline with adherence to the EcoFesta Puglia brand, reaffirmed Felline's deep bond with its gastronomic and musical roots.
