The Feast of the Assumption at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Dry Grape is one of the most beloved events in Povegliano Veronese, a town in the Veronese plain in the province of Verona. Linked to the Assumption of Mary on August 15th, the festival has reached its 52nd edition and traditionally takes place around mid-August, blending religious devotion with community celebration.

Alongside the Marian celebrations in the sanctuary, the festival offers a rich gastronomic stand every evening with traditional Venetian dishes, including the famous sàte de galina (chicken feet), a specialty that draws gourmets from all over the region.

The evenings are enlivened by live music and dancing, in a festive atmosphere that unites all generations. The event is organized by the parish together with the Sanctuary Restoration Committee, the Municipality, and the Pro Loco of Povegliano Veronese, and contributes with its proceeds to the care and restoration of the ancient sanctuary.
