Edition 2025 — FarinaFest

The first edition of FarinaFest - Morsi di Oplonti took place on Monday, August 4, 2025, starting at 8:00 PM, in the oratory courtyard of the Salesian House of Torre Annunziata, on Via Margherita di Savoia. With a 12-euro ticket, you could enjoy bolognese pasta made with Setaro Pasta Factory pasta, a folded margherita pizza, and a drink, amidst live music, ancient games, and the inauguration of a mural created for the occasion.

The first edition of FarinaFest

On August 4, 2025, the Salesian oratory courtyard of Torre Annunziata hosted the first edition of FarinaFest - Morsi di Oplonti: Pasta and Pizza Festival, promoted by the Salesians of Don Bosco, the Piccoli Passi Grandi Sogni association, and the Misericordia. The goal was to celebrate the two iconic dishes of Italian tradition and the Oplonti history of mills.

What was eaten

With a 12-euro ticket, you received a plate of rigatoni bolognese, prepared by the Misericordia staff under the guidance of chef Nicola Iervolino using pasta from the Setaro Pasta Factory, the last historic pasta factory still active in the city and sponsor of the event, as well as a folded margherita pizza, made by the young people from the Salesian family homes together with master pizza makers Alamin Mia and Antonio Paduano, and a drink.

Music, art, and games

The evening was enlivened by the live music of the group Quattro quarti with lead vocalist Rena. Two installations were also inaugurated: the "Seeds of Kindness" mural by Nello Collaro and the "Avenue of Ancient Games" conceived by educator Stella Li Mandri. There was also a children's area with inflatables and entertainment.
