The FAI in Caravaggio

The FAI Spring Days are one of the most beloved cultural events in Italy: for a weekend, the Italian Environment Fund opens hundreds of normally closed or little-accessible places to the public. Caravaggio, in the province of Bergamo, also participates with one of its gems: the Church of San Bernardino, part of the Franciscan Complex on Viale Giovanni XXIII.

The extraordinary opening allows you to discover a place of great artistic value. The church houses a cycle of frescoes dedicated to the Passion of Christ, a testament to the rich pictorial tradition of the area.
