In the plain of the eastern lower Bergamo area, along the Oglio River, the Municipality of Isso (Province of Bergamo) is one of the smallest centers in the region. The town celebrates its patron saint, Saint Andrew the Apostle, on November 30th, the date on which liturgy commemorates the saint in both the Eastern and Western Churches.
The Oratory of Saint Andrew
The heart of devotion in Isso is the historic oratory of Saint Andrew, dating back to the 17th century. Originally the chapel of the Zucoli palace, the oratory now serves as the main church for the community of Isso.
