Edition 2025 — Faeto Ham Festival

On Sunday, August 3, 2025, the Bosco di Faeto hosted the 64th Faeto Ham Festival, one of the most anticipated summer events in the Monti Dauni. From morning until late evening, amidst the trees, tastings of the renowned hand-sliced Faeto dry-cured ham and other local cured meats took place, accompanied by a market of typical products, guided tours, and folk music, in a blend of flavors, sounds, and colors of the Daunian tradition.

64th Faeto Ham Festival

The 64th edition of the Faeto Ham Festival was held on Sunday, August 3, 2025, in the Bosco di Faeto, in the Monti Dauni, province of Foggia, confirming the fixed appointment of the first Sunday of August. The day, which began in the morning and lasted until the evening, offered tastings of Faeto dry-cured ham hand-sliced along with lardo, pancetta, capocollo, sausage, and soppressata, as well as cheeses, wood-fired bread, and local wines.

Alongside the gastronomic stalls, visitors were able to stroll through the market of typical and artisanal products, participate in guided tours of the Franco-Provençal village and nature trails, and attend folk music and dance performances. An edition that reaffirmed the identity value of one of the oldest festivals in Puglia, a celebration of a mountain cured meat and the unique culture of Faeto.
