Music and solidarity to give a voice to young caregivers
Fabergamo Festival was created to give a voice to an often invisible reality: that of young caregivers, boys and girls aged 14 to 29 who look after a fragile family member. Through music, storytelling, and sharing, the festival raises community awareness on a sensitive issue, offering the young protagonists a space for listening and expression.
The title of the 6th edition, "give me what you want, I what I can", is a verse by Fabrizio De André and serves as the common thread for the entire event. The music of the Genoese singer-songwriter accompanies the evenings, alternating musical moments with storytelling sessions that recount the stories and emotions of young caregivers.
The festival will be held on June 20 and 21, 2026, at ChorusLife in Bergamo, as part of the "Estate sul Palco" review. Saturday, June 20, will open with the presentation of the "Prendi Fiato" project, accompanied by De André's songs and dances by the Let's Dance collective, with the involvement of the young protagonists.
Fabergamo is organized by Soffia nel vento APS as part of the "Prendi Fiato" project, promoted by Spazio Autismo Bergamo APS in collaboration with ATS Bergamo and Fondazione Azzanelli Cedrelli. A solidarity festival that, in the heart of Lombardy, unites culture, music, and social commitment, confirming Bergamo's vocation to provide space for the most fragile and deserving realities of the area.
