The Exhibition of Red Chicory IGP is one of the most cherished gastronomic events in Mogliano Veneto, in the province of Treviso. The star is the famous red chicory from Treviso and Castelfranco IGP, the "winter flower" that for decades has represented one of the agricultural excellences of the area.
Market, tastings, and tradition
In Piazza Caduti and along Via Don Bosco, the event features a market of horticultural products from Triveneto, an exhibition of IGP chicory, and numerous tastings: from red chicory risotto from Treviso to giant spits. There is also music, workshops, show cooking, and an exhibition of vintage tractors.
Organization
The exhibition is organized by Pro Loco Mogliano Veneto together with the Municipality of Mogliano Veneto, in a celebration that combines taste, peasant culture, and community.
Red Chicory Exhibition — edition 2026
The 2026 edition, the fortieth, of the Exhibition of Red Chicory IGP takes place in Mogliano Veneto on Saturday, February 14th and Sunday, February 15th, in Piazza Caduti and along Via Don Bosco. Two days dedicated to red chicory from Treviso and Castelfranco IGP and typical products from Triveneto, amidst taste, music, and tradition.
The event is organized by Pro Loco Mogliano Veneto with the Municipality and celebrates an important milestone for the agricultural history of the area.

Saturday, February 14, 2026
- Opening of the market for horticultural and typical products from Triveneto and the IGP chicory exhibition
- Afternoon: workshops for Carnival masks
- Show cooking "Let's learn to make cheese" for children, by cheesemaker Nicola (Donadel and Marangon farms)
Sunday, February 15, 2026
- Morning: festival resumes, 10:30 AM official inauguration with a concert by the Città di Mogliano Musical Group
- Lunch: red chicory risotto from Treviso and giant spits to take away
- Afternoon: puppet shows, juggling, and show cooking by local master pastry chefs with the tasting "Chicory goes sweet"
Throughout the weekend: tastings, music, workshops, and exhibition of vintage Landini tractors.

How to get there
Mogliano Veneto is reachable by train (Venice–Treviso line, Mogliano Veneto station) and by car from the A27 (Mogliano Veneto exit) or the Terraglio (SR89). The exhibition takes place in Piazza Caduti and Via Don Bosco, in the center.
