The Italian final of the most important European street food award
The European Street Food Awards are the most important European competition dedicated to street food, founded in 2017. Their Italian final โ one of two โ is held in Padenghe sul Garda, a village in the province of Brescia on Lake Garda, in Piazza G. D'Annunzio, a short walk from the Town Hall. The event is organized by Eatinero.
During the event, the best Italian food trucks compete to advance to the European final. The village's central square transforms into a large culinary village, where you can taste street food specialties from all over Italy. The competition is based on a dual voting system: a technical jury of industry experts evaluates aesthetics, presentation, and food quality, while visitors can vote for their favorite food truck. The two best food trucks from each final advance to the European final.
Alongside tastings, the event offers live music every evening, a dedicated children's area, and an artisan market. Admission is free, making the event accessible to families and visitors of all ages. The setting of Lake Garda adds charm to a celebration that combines gastronomy, entertainment, and socialising.
