The wine of the Euganean Hills at Villa dei Vescovi
Vini Euganei is the wine event held in May in the charming Villa dei Vescovi, a 16th-century residence managed by FAI in Luvigliano, a hamlet of Torreglia, in the province of Padua. The event, promoted in conjunction with the Strada del Vino Colli Euganei, showcases the region's wine production in the heart of the Euganean Hills Regional Park.
Twenty-four wineries, over seventy labels
The heart of the event is the tasting: 24 selected wineries from the area present over 70 labels from the Euganean Hills, explained directly by the producers. The ticket with a wine glass allows free access to taste all the wines, accompanied by a food corner curated by Vescovi Bistrot.
Guided tastings and villa tours
The program includes themed guided tastings, led by sommeliers and experts, and the opening of Villa dei Vescovi with self-guided and guided tours to discover the residence and its agricultural park. An opportunity to combine the culture of wine with that of Renaissance architecture.
A weekend of wine and landscape
Part of the FAI's programming, the event attracts enthusiasts and the curious to the landscape of the Euganean Hills. Vini Euganei tells the enological identity of a territory with volcanic origins, where viticulture is an integral part of the landscape, in Torreglia, in the province of Padua.
Euganean Wines — edition 2026
Vini Euganei returns to Villa dei Vescovi in Luvigliano di Torreglia from May 8 to 10, 2026. Friday, May 8, from 6 PM to 10 PM, the preview "Aspettando Vini Euganei" offers an aperitif on the villa's terraces; Saturday 9 and Sunday 10, from 1 PM to 8 PM, the 24 selected wineries each exhibit three labels, with a food corner by Vescovi Bistrot.
The ticket with a wine glass allows free access to taste all the wines. Themed guided tastings are scheduled, along with the opening of the villa with guided tours at fixed times, to discover the Renaissance residence of FAI and its agricultural park.

Friday, May 8 — Waiting for Vini Euganei
- 6:00 PM-10:00 PM — Aperitif on the terraces of Villa dei Vescovi (ticket 5 euros, including one tasting)
- 7:00 PM-8:30 PM — Guided tasting by Nicola Fasson: "Red grape varieties and Bordeaux blends" (20 euros)
Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10
- 1:00 PM-8:00 PM — Exhibition of the 24 selected wineries, each with 3 labels; food corner by Vescovi Bistrot
- 3:00 PM — Guided tasting by Emanuele Dente on wines from Mediterranean and Euganean islands (20 euros)
- 10:00 AM-6:00 PM — Villa dei Vescovi open for visits (last entry 5:00 PM); guided tours at fixed times at 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 3:00 PM, and 4:00 PM

How to get there
By car: from Padua, about 20 km towards the Euganean Hills, direction Torreglia–Luvigliano. By train: Padua or Battaglia Terme station, then travel by car.
Tickets
Friday evening preview (reduced ticket with one tasting). Saturday and Sunday: entrance with wine glass and tastings of your choice (approx. 25 euros, reduced for AIS members). Guided tastings at an additional cost. Villa visitable as per FAI schedule. Info and reservations on fondoambiente.it.
