Etna Porcini Mushroom Festival

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the Etna Porcini Mushroom Festival took place at Parco di Macchia in Giarre, in the province of Catania, on September 14, 21, 27, and 28, 2025. It marked the return of the event, heir to the historic Porcini Mushroom Festival born in Macchia in 1994, bringing thousands of visitors back to the Etna park.

The program featured stalls from local producers, a food area, and live cooking shows with traditional dishes based on Etna porcini — risottos, sauces, grilled dishes, and preserves — along with entertainment. The event was organized by the Saro Ragaglia Association with the support of the Municipality of Giarre and the collaboration of local educational institutions.
