Estate Larinese is the major summer review organised by the Municipality of Larino, in the province of Campobasso. From July to September, the historic centre of the Frentanian city fills with cultural, musical, and recreational events, with a programme that in recent editions has exceeded forty events spread over two months.
A multidisciplinary programme
The review spans genres and audiences: concerts, theatre in the evocative setting of the Roman Amphitheatre, open-air cinema, philosophy talks, children's shows, sporting events, and moments of popular tradition such as the Summer Carnival and the Cavatelli Food Festival (Sagra dei Cavatelli). An offering designed for residents and tourists that enhances Larino's historical and archaeological heritage.
A city as a stage
Estate Larinese confirms Larino's vocation as a cultural centre of Basso Molise: squares, alleys, and monuments become settings for shows and initiatives that liven up summer evenings and strengthen the community's identity.
Estate Larinese — edition 2026
Estate Larinese 2026 will once again offer, as every year, a packed calendar of summer events in the historic centre of Larino. Following the pattern of previous editions — which featured over forty events in two months — the municipal review will combine concerts, theatre in the Roman Amphitheatre, open-air cinema, philosophy talks, food festivals (sagre), and shows for families.

The detailed programme for the 2026 edition has not yet been published by the Municipality of Larino. The usual structure of the review includes: live music, theatre in the Roman Amphitheatre, cinema under the stars, philosophy talks, the Summer Carnival at the Exhibition Centre (Polo Fieristico), the Cavatelli Food Festival (Sagra dei Cavatelli), children's shows, and sporting events.
