Entroterra Cult Fest

A festival of sport, nature, and music in Farindola

The Entroterra Cult Fest is the summer event that brings Farindola to life, a small town in the province of Pescara nestled in the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park. The festival takes place in the natural setting of Località Spiaggetta, along the Tavo River, at the foot of the eastern slopes of the Gran Sasso d'Italia. The formula combines outdoor sports, live music, culture, and local flavors, attracting adventure enthusiasts, hikers, and families from all over Abruzzo every year.

Outdoor sports and climbing

The heart of the festival is sport in a natural environment. The program includes the Entroterra Trek, a guided hike in the Tavo Valley, and days dedicated to climbing: the Entroterra Urban Climbing, an urban climbing competition with qualifiers, finals, and awards, and AngriBlok, a bouldering day in the scenic Valle d'Angri, featuring cleaned boulders, highball routes, and challenges for all levels. Sports activities are complemented by a beer & food area and social moments immersed in the Gran Sasso landscape.

Live music and gastronomy

As evening falls, the Spiaggetta area transforms into an open-air stage: live concerts and DJ sets accompany the festival nights, while food stalls offer typical products from the Abruzzo hinterland, starting with the famous pecorino di Farindola. A free camping area allows visitors to stay and fully experience the festival atmosphere under the stars of the National Park.

Farindola, gateway to the Gran Sasso, is known for its pristine landscapes, waterfalls like the Vitello d'Oro, and authentic culinary traditions. The Entroterra Cult Fest was born from the desire to promote this territory through sport, culture, and music, in collaboration with the FIAF - Farindola International Arts Festival and the ViviFarindola association. An event that tells the story of inland Abruzzo as a place of adventure, community, and natural beauty.
