A festival to bid farewell to summer in Focene

The End of Summer Event is the celebration through which the community of Focene, a seaside district in the Municipality of Fiumicino, says goodbye to the summer season. Two nights of festivities at Parco Azzurra, with free admission, dedicated to the joy of being together with music, good food, and entertainment: an appointment designed for residents and visitors of all ages who want to extend the summer atmosphere on the Roman coast.

Parco Azzurra, the heart of the event

The greenery of Parco Azzurra, located in Piazza Generale Carlo Alberto Dalla Chiesa, becomes a large community space for the occasion. Among the trees and paths of the park, you will find food stalls, communal tables, and an area reserved for children, in an open-air setting just a stone's throw from the sea, making for a pleasant evening even as summer draws to a close.

Gastronomy, music, and entertainment

The program revolves around three simple and proven ingredients:

• Food stalls managed by volunteers, featuring local specialties and delicacies;
• Music and dancing, with live entertainment accompanying the evenings;
• Shows and play areas for children, for a truly family-friendly festival.

Free admission and an informal atmosphere make the End of Summer Event a moment of leisure and sharing open to the entire community.

The Pro Loco of Focene and its local ties

The event is organized by the Pro Loco of Focene, with the patronage of the Municipality of Fiumicino and within the framework of UNPLI activities. It was with the 2024 End of Summer Event that the young Pro Loco officially introduced itself to the community, unveiling its logo and association goals. Since then, the association has promoted seasonal festivals, markets, and solidarity initiatives for neighborhood families throughout the year.
