Empoli Artichoke Festival

In 2025, the Empoli Artichoke Festival celebrated its twelfth edition, hosting visitors from April 25 to May 4 in the village of Pozzale, Empoli. For ten days, the Circolo Arci's food stand offered dishes every evening based on the characteristic Empoli artichoke, a local thornless variety with an intense flavor, with gluten-free menu options and takeaway service available.

As per tradition, the event — organized by the La Costruenda Cultural Association — featured free entry and was plastic-free, confirming itself as one of the most beloved food and wine events of the Empoli spring and the Valdelsa area.
