About Due Miglia del Serio
Sport and solidarity
The Due Miglia del Serio is a historic running event in the Municipality of Albino, in the province of Bergamo, organized by the Athletics section of the Gruppo Sportivo Marinelli. Originally a community event, the race has become a spring classic in Albino over the years, capable of combining sporting activity with a strong solidarity dimension: the entire proceeds are donated to ADMO, the Bone Marrow Donor Association.
The relay that makes a difference
The most anticipated moment is the traditional 2x2 mile relay, a competition that awards the title of social champion of the year. Around this main race, an evening of alternating races unfolds, designed to involve participants of all ages, from children aged three and up to adults.
A community celebration
More than just a race, the Due Miglia del Serio is an occasion for the Seriana Valley to come together: an evening where sport becomes a tool for solidarity and community building, in the spirit that has animated the Gruppo Sportivo Marinelli and the community of Albino for twenty-five editions.
Due Miglia del Serio — edition 2026
The 2026 edition, the twenty-fifth, takes place on Thursday, May 28, with gathering at 5:45 PM at the internal parking lot of Comendunese Arredamenti, in Via Serio 13 in Albino.
The evening offers alternating races for participants aged 3 and up, with the traditional 2x2 mile relay as the main event. The entire proceeds are donated to ADMO.
