Desmalgada

The 2025 Desmalgada, the ninth edition of the event, took place on Sunday, September 14, 2025, on the Boniprati Plateau, between the municipalities of Prezzo and Castel Condino, in the Chiese Valley.

The day opened at 8:00 AM with a historical trek exploring the plateau; from 10:00 AM, tastings, sales of local products, and the educational farm were open to the public. The highlight occurred at 11:30 AM with the livestock parade—cows, goats, donkeys, and horses—accompanied by four brass bands: the Banda San Giorgio of Castel Condino, the Banda Sociale of Cimego, the Knödel Bergmusikanten of Strembo, and the Antichi Valori of Pieve di Bono. At noon, a traditional lunch was served featuring polenta carbonera, cabbage, and alpine cheese; in the afternoon, the Caserada dei Popi and the "One Two Three... Stable!" rural games took place for the little ones.
