An explosion of colors in Desio
The Desio Color Run is the most cheerful run in Desio (province of Monza and Brianza): not a timed race, but a moving party where participants throw biodegradable colored powders at each other along a route that crosses the city streets. In 2026, the event is in its 2nd edition and takes place on April 18 in Piazza Conciliazione.
How it works
From 2:00 PM, the square transforms into an open-air village with entertainment and music for the pre-race warm-up. The official start is at 3:00 PM: the route winds through the streets of the center and returns to the square around 4:30 PM, in a cloud of colors. Each participant receives a kit with a commemorative t-shirt, glasses, and a backpack.
Party for the whole family
The Desio Color Run is designed to be accessible to everyone: children aged 4 and up, adults, and entire families can register and run together. After the run, the party continues with street food, stalls, and DJ sets, to celebrate the day in a large open-air village in the heart of Brianza.
Desio Color Run — edition 2026
In 2026, the Desio Color Run, in its second edition, will liven up Piazza Conciliazione on April 18. From 2:00 PM, the square becomes an open-air village with music and entertainment; at 3:00 PM, the start of the colorful run, with return to the square around 4:30 PM. Each registrant receives a kit with a t-shirt, glasses, and backpack. The day concludes with street food, stalls, and DJ sets.
