The Carnival of Valle Camonica

The Darfo Boario Terme Town Carnival is one of the most colourful events of carnival in Valle Camonica. In the Municipality of Darfo Boario Terme (Province of Brescia), the masked parade with floats transforms the town streets into a grand festive procession that connects the two historic centres of the town, Darfo and Boario.

The Parade from Darfo to Boario

The procession starts at 2:30 PM from Piazzale Donatori di Sangue, in Darfo, and arrives around 4:00 PM at Piazzale Einaudi, in Boario. Along the route, floats and masked groups parade, accompanied by music from DJs Frank Van Janek, Gevo, and Pampa, while children's entertainment is provided by Lion Kids.

Prizes and Taste

There's also a delicious aspect, with a food & drink area and fritters offered by Caffè Autostazione. At the end of the parade, there are rich prizes for the most beautiful costumes, divided into different categories: individual, couple, and group costumes (from three people upwards).

A Celebration for Everyone

The event, with free admission, is designed for families and children and represents one of the most attended moments of the Camunian winter. In case of bad weather, the event is postponed, showing the organisation's commitment to ensuring a successful day of celebration for the entire community.
