Ultra-distance in the Dolomites
The D+ Ultracycling Dolomitica is one of the great ultra-distance cycling challenges in Italy, starting and finishing in Vittorio Veneto, in the province of Treviso. The event, organized by Dolomitica Races, leads cyclists to tackle the major alpine passes between Veneto, Trentino, and Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
Three Routes
The queen course is the 720, with approximately 720 km and nearly 20,000 meters of elevation gain through about twenty alpine passes, valid as the Italian Ultracycling Championship. Alongside this, the shorter distances of the 376/380 and the 180 allow a wider audience to test themselves against the mountains, each with its own challenging elevation gain.
A Gateway to RAAM
The 720 is a qualifier for the Race Across America (RAAM), the legendary cycling crossing of the United States: those who complete the course within the allotted time earn a pass for the great American race. This makes the Dolomitica a benchmark event for Italian ultracyclists, set against a spectacular landscape that connects the Vittorio Veneto area with the Dolomite peaks.
Ultracycling Dolomitica — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Ultracycling Dolomitica takes place from July 10 to 12, based in Vittorio Veneto. The queen course, the 720, offers approximately 720 km and nearly 20,000 meters of elevation gain through about twenty alpine passes between Veneto, Trentino, and Friuli-Venezia Giulia, and is valid as the Italian Ultracycling Championship as well as a qualifier for the Race Across America. The 376/380, titled the Italian Ultrafondo Championship, and the 180, a more accessible distance, complete the program. Registrations are open via the KeepSporting platform.

Getting Here
Vittorio Veneto is reachable by car via the A27 motorway and by train. The start and finish are in the city; the route crosses the mountain roads of Veneto, Trentino, and Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
