The Cusignana Festival
The Cusignana Festival is the great summer celebration of Cusignana, a hamlet of Giavera del Montello, a municipality in the Marca Trevigiana area, province of Treviso. It takes place in August in Piazza IV Novembre and combines, for two weeks, the religious dimension of the Festival of the Assumption and St. Roch with the conviviality of a village feast.
Devotion to Mary
As the parish priest recalls, "the heart is the devotion to Mary, the invocation of her help; the body is the great festival." The central moment is August 15th, with the Masses for the Assumption and the traditional procession that winds through the village carrying the statue of the Madonna, accompanied by the Alpini veterans.
Dancing, Food, and Fun
Around the religious celebration, the festival offers dancing under the stars every evening on a covered dance floor, musical performances, themed evenings, food stalls, charity raffles with prizes, and a funfair for all ages. Organized by the Pro Loco of Giavera del Montello, the Cusignana Festival is one of the most cherished events of the summer at the foot of Montello.
Cusignana Festival — edition 2026
The Cusignana Festival is the recurring summer celebration of the Cusignana hamlet in Giavera del Montello (Treviso), linked to the devotion to the Assumption and St. Roch. The event is expected again in August 2026, around Ferragosto, in Piazza IV Novembre.
Among the already confirmed events, for Saturday, August 15th, 2026, "Sorrriso in Piazza" returns, a dance under the stars with the speakers of Radio Sorrriso (from 9:30 PM, free entry). As tradition dictates, the festival offers food stalls, themed evenings, charity raffles, a funfair, and musical performances, along with the religious moments for the Assumption. Full dates and program will be announced by the Pro Loco closer to the event.

Program to be defined. Among the confirmed events and the usual structure documented in previous editions:
- Saturday, August 15th, 9:30 PM — "Sorrriso in Piazza", dancing under the stars with Radio Sorrriso (free entry)
- August 15th — Masses for the Assumption and procession with the statue of the Madonna
- Every evening — dancing under the stars on a covered dance floor, musical performances, and themed evenings
- Food stalls, charity raffles, and funfair for the entire duration of the festival
