In Cusago, a municipality in the Milanese hinterland overlooking the Parco Agricolo Sud Milano, in the Province of Milan, the first weekend of May is dedicated to Cusago in Festa. For three days, the historic center, dominated by the splendid Visconti Castle, comes alive with one of the season's most beloved formats: the street food festival with many other attractions.

Street Food and Beer

The market area fills with street food vans and beer dispensers, creating the ideal atmosphere for an afternoon or evening outdoors. It starts on Friday afternoon and goes until midnight, while Saturday and Sunday the festival begins at noon, with tables set up in the village for lunch and dinner. A market and small rides complete the offering, making the event suitable for the whole family.

Medieval Sunday

The most evocative moment is Sunday, dedicated to medieval re-enactments: the streets of the center host costumed performers and shows that take you back a few centuries, telling the story of life in the past in the shadow of the castle.
