Edition 2025 — Cuor di Gelato

In 2025, Castellana Sicula once again renewed its appointment with Cuor di Gelato, the artisanal ice cream festival of the Madonie. The "Heart Tour" formula was confirmed, featuring free tastings at seven stops among the town's gelaterias and pastry shops, accompanied by traditional local bread and biscuits. The program included cooking shows on ice cream and granita, walks through the aromatic herbs of the Madonie, live music, and family entertainment in the historic center.

The 2025 edition of Cuor di Gelato confirmed Castellana Sicula as the capital of artisanal ice cream in the Madonie. The heart of the event, as per tradition, was the "Heart Tour": a trail of free tastings at seven stops among the town's bars, gelaterias, and pastry shops, where master ice cream makers offered their most successful flavors, from almond to citrus to the most original creations, often paired with traditional local bread and biscuits.

The program combined the tastings with cooking shows on the preparation of ice cream and granita, nature walks through the aromatic herbs of the Madonie, presentations and cultural moments, as well as musical performances and entertainment for children in the squares of the center. Promoted by the Municipality of Castellana Sicula together with local master ice cream makers, the festival confirmed its role as a showcase for the Sicilian confectionery tradition and a driver for food and wine tourism in the Madonie.
