Edition 2025 — Criscioletta Festival
The 54th edition of the Criscioletta Festival was held in the village of Cascio, a hamlet of Molazzana (Lucca), over two weekends: July 25-27 and August 1-3, 2025. In 2025, the star dish remained the criscioletta, the corn and durum wheat flour flatbread cooked on iron plates and served hot with pancetta or cow's milk cheese.
Food stalls were open every evening, accompanied by live music from local bands, dancing, aperitifs on the panoramic terrace, photo exhibitions, and entertainment for children. The event, organized by A.S.R. Cascio, confirmed the long tradition that began in 1969 in the heart of the Garfagnana.
