Crescentina Festival

The Crescentina Festival 2025 animated the center of Pavullo nel Frignano on Saturday, August 30, and Sunday, August 31, with a record edition: over 78,000 crescentine cooked and around 1,900 tastings of Parmigiano-Reggiano.

On Saturday evening, the opening of the food stands at 7:00 PM was followed, from 8:30 PM, by group dances with DJ Beppe. On Sunday, the stands of the fractional groups — including Montorso, Benedello, Renno, Baldaccini, Gaiato, La Fonda, and Castagneto — offered crescentine and local specialties, alongside the Pro Loco's gluten-free stand. In the afternoon, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the folk groups Insieme Per Caso and the Pavullo folk group alternated, with workshops, a market, and entertainment.

The highlight of Sunday was the Palio del Parmigiano-Reggiano della Montagna Modenese, with cheesemaker demonstrations and fresh ricotta tasting in collaboration with the Cooperativa Nuova Frignano.
