The 2025 edition of the Country Food Festival was held on July 26 and 27, 2025, at the Abbey of San Giovanni in Venere in Fossacesia (CH), opening at 6:00 PM. Organized by the Made in Fossacesia Association with Slow Food Lanciano and included in the Bellestate 2025 program, it featured eight local agri-food companies preparing iconic peasant dishes: homemade pasta, pallotte cace e ove, pizza scime, fried vegetables, peppers with eggs and tomatoes, five-grain bread with panzanella, and pesto made with oil from the Abbey's lands.

Accompanying the tastings were wines from Cantina Frentana and the champagnino stand, the typical drink made of white wine and soda from country taverns. The setup, curated with eco-friendly materials and hay bales used as seating, provided a rustic and convivial atmosphere, highlighting the historical heritage of the Abbey and the excellence of the Frentano territory.
