The Maggiolone's Ribbon Cutting

The Costina Festival marks the inaugural weekend of the Maggiolone Social Park in Cassano Magnago, a municipality in the Province of Varese. The first weekend of May, the Via Primo Maggio festival area officially opens its season—which runs from May to September—with the festival dedicated to pork ribs, one of the most beloved dishes at village festivals.

Ribs and Table Service

The star of the table is the pork rib, served at your table with reservations recommended. The gastronomic offering accompanies the three days of celebration, in a convivial atmosphere designed for families and groups of friends. Table service, with limited seating, ensures an orderly and well-catered experience.

Music, Shows, and Fun

The opening is packed with events: on Friday with DJ Grey and a juggling show, and in the evening the Vogo Beat band; on Saturday with a preview of the Bisboccia Fest featuring hammocks, picnic seating, live music, and DJ sets; on Sunday with juggling in the afternoon and live ballroom dancing in the evening. For the little ones, there are free inflatable games, sports areas (table tennis, football, archery), and creative activities.

An Indoor Festival

Like all events in the season, the festival takes place under a 1,600 sq m covered structure, with a large stage, allowing the celebration to go on even in case of bad weather. A free admission event that officially kicks off the long calendar of themed festivals at the Maggiolone Social Park in Cassano Magnago.
