Race and memory in Campomorone

The Coppa Mario Manzoni e Martiri della Libertà is the running event of Campomorone, a municipality in the hinterland of the province of Genoa, in the valley of the Verde stream. Now in its twentieth edition, the race combines the passion for sport with remembrance, named after Mario Manzoni and the Martyrs of Freedom.

Three moments for everyone

The evening is divided into three events designed to involve the entire community: the children's race, the free walk, a non-competitive event of about two kilometers, open to anyone who wishes to participate, and the competitive race of six kilometers reserved for athletes. The starting and finishing point is the central Piazza Marconi.

Valid for the Grand Prix of the Two Valleys

The competitive race is part of the Grand Prix delle Due Valli circuit, an important running calendar in the Genoese hinterland, and attracts athletes from all over the area. The organization is managed by the Municipality of Campomorone with the support of the Liguria Region and local sports organizations.
