Confini d'acqua — photographic exhibition

An exhibition on water, industry, and memory

The Fondazione Dalmine, in the Municipality of Dalmine (Province of Bergamo), hosts "Confini d'acqua. The Oglio River and Lake Iseo between Bergamo and Brescia", a photographic exhibition that tells the story of the relationship between man, water, and work along the Oglio valleys and the shores of Lake Iseo. The exhibition focuses on the deep link between industry, territory, and community, in a border area where watercourses have shaped the economy and landscape for centuries.

The exhibition path

Visitors journey through a visual narrative built on archival photographs documenting the transformation of the landscape during the 20th century. The Dalmine stop particularly highlights the industrial imagery, with immersive projections dedicated to water and landscape, and a specific section on the Costa Volpino plant.

A collaboration between foundations

The exhibition is the result of a collaboration between Fondazione Negri and Fondazione Dalmine, with the support of Fondazione Comunità Bresciana and the patronage of Rete Fotografia. It is an example of how two neighboring territories—Bergamo and Brescia—can interpret their history together through photographic archives, a fragile and precious heritage of Lombardy's industrial culture.

Where it is located

The exhibition is housed in the spaces of Fondazione Dalmine, in Piazzale Leonardo da Vinci 3, a short walk from the center of Dalmine. The venue is easily accessible and is part of a broader calendar of cultural initiatives promoted by the Foundation throughout the year.
