Ardesio becomes the capital of street artists in Valle Seriana
Come d'Incanto is the street artists' festival that every year, in May, enlivens the village of Ardesio, in the upper Valle Seriana, in the province of Bergamo. Now in its 14th edition, the event transforms the squares and streets of the historic center into a large, widespread stage, where contemporary circus, street theater, and performing arts meet audiences of all ages.
The program unfolds over a weekend. Saturday evening is dedicated to evening shows, with captivating performances such as sand art on the churchyard steps and luminous stilt walkers crossing the village. On Sunday, from morning to sunset, Piazza Moretto becomes the "Enchantment Center," with games, face painting, animated readings, and a treasure hunt to explore the village.
During the event, there are numbers by clowns, jugglers, unicyclists, magicians, and illusionists, as well as evening performances of aerial acrobatics and fire dancing. The streets of the center also host itinerant street bands that accompany the public between performances.
Come d'Incanto is organized by Pro Loco Ardesio, which each year enriches the festival with new proposals and artistic collaborations, including inaugurations of street art works related to the Orobie trails. Admission is free, confirming the event's popular and inclusive nature.
The 2026 edition of Come d'Incanto, the fourteenth, takes place on Saturday May 23 and Sunday May 24 in Ardesio.
Saturday evening is dedicated to evening shows, with sand art "The Thread of Life" on the sanctuary steps and luminous stilt walkers "Luminous Butterflies" through the village streets.
