The Colle Spina Craft Markets are the freshest addition to the event calendar of Labico, a municipality in the Metropolitan City of Rome, in the heart of Lazio. The first edition was held on Sunday, March 29, 2026, and was not intended as a one-off event: the Associazione Comitato Collespina, which promotes the initiative with the patronage of the Municipality of Labico, aims to create a recurring monthly appointment to enliven the district throughout the year.

The organizers' stated goal is twofold: to support local producers and artisans who rarely find accessible showcases, and to restore an authentic meeting space to the community, where manual skill transforms into unique creations. It is a simple idea that has always worked in the villages of the Monti Prenestini: you head to the square, browse, chat, and buy something handmade.

What you will find at the stalls

The exhibition path brings together artisans and creatives engaged in various manual, small-scale crafts. Among the productions announced by the organizers:

• Woodworking — objects, accessories, and small handmade furniture;
• Pyrography — fire-engraved decorations on wood, an ancient technique making a comeback;
• Artisanal candles and natural soaps, often made with simple raw materials;
• Creative sewing and handmade textiles;
• Costume jewelry and ornaments crafted piece by piece;
• Face painting and activities dedicated to children.

The event is held monthly on Sundays, covering the entire day. Admission to the exhibition area is completely free and open to everyone.
