The Carnival run open to everyone
Cirimido Corre in Maschera is one of the most charming running events in the province of Como: a non-competitive race, open to everyone, which every year, during Carnival season, transforms the small town of Cirimido into a colorful procession of runners in costume. In 2026, the event will reach its 20th edition.
The race offers three routes of different lengths โ 5, 10, and 15 kilometers โ winding through the town streets and the surrounding countryside, suitable for both seasoned athletes and families or walkers. The meeting point is in via Giuseppe Mazzini, at the Alpini square, from where all routes start.
The heart of the event is the carnival spirit: participants run in costume, and there are prizes for the largest groups. Organized by G.P. Boomerang, the race is part of the rich amateur running calendar in Lombardy and is a highly anticipated event for those who love to combine exercise and fun. An event that showcases the cheerful and community-focused side of Cirimido, in the Como Brianza region.
