Ciccioli in Piasa

The 22nd edition of Ciccioli in Piasa animated the historic center of San Martino in Rio on Sunday, March 9, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the evening.

From the morning, the village streets were filled with charcutiers and their wood-fired cooking. In the afternoon, at 3:00 PM, the demonstration of wood-fired Parmigiano Reggiano cooking took place, while at 5:30 PM, the awards for the charcutiers were presented. The day was accompanied by performances from the "G. Verdi" Band of Prato and a marching band. Among the specialties on offer: ciccioli frolli, gnocco fritto and tigelle, lasagna with ragù, polenta with guancialini, zampone with beans, erbazzone, and traditional desserts. Completing the festival were artisanal markets, pony rides, wooden games, and visits to the Rocca and local museums.
