Schio Lights Up for Christmas
With The Magic of Christmas, the historic center of Schio, a town in Alto Vicentino in the province of Vicenza, transforms into a festive stage for an entire month. Markets, lights, music, nativity scenes, and moments of solidarity accompany residents and visitors from the beginning of December until Epiphany.
The Markets
The chalets and stalls of the Christmas markets animate the heart of the city, between Piazza Rossi in front of the cathedral, Via Capitano Sella, Via Battaglion Val Leogra, and Piazza IV Novembre, offering crafts, gift ideas, and gastronomic specialties.

The program is coordinated by the Municipality of Schio together with Cuore di Schio, Ascom Confcommercio, Pro Loco, and numerous associations, choirs, and youth groups. Free admission to all events.
The Magic of Christmas — edition 2026
The Magic of Christmas 2026 brings the festive atmosphere back to Schio, with Christmas markets, lights, music, nativity scenes, and moments of solidarity animating the historic center from December until Epiphany. Between Piazza Rossi, Via Capitano Sella, and Piazza IV Novembre, chalets offer crafts and specialties, while the tree lighting, shows, concerts, and children's entertainment mark the weeks. Free admission. Detailed dates for the 2026-27 edition will be announced by the Municipality of Schio in autumn.
