Christmas on Lake Garda, not among snowy fir trees but under olive trees
Natale tra gli Olivi is the Christmas market and village of Garda, on the Veronese side of Lake Garda. The idea that gives the event its name is simple and evocative: here, Christmas is not celebrated among snowy fir trees, but under olive trees, in a mild climate and a Mediterranean setting that makes the festive atmosphere unique.
Along the Lungolago Regina Adelaide, you'll find wooden chalets offering local products, crafts, and regional gastronomic specialties, gathered in the 'Borgo del Gusto' (Taste Village). There's also a life-size nativity scene, one of the most beloved attractions for visitors, along with entertainment and activities for families.
In Piazza del Municipio, the Christmas village comes alive with theatrical performances, musical shows, and choirs that animate the festive days. In Piazza Catullo, an ice skating rink is set up, a must for both adults and children. An event that, for over a month, illuminates the village of Garda, in the province of Verona, with Christmas lights and atmosphere, offering a Christmas with a unique Garda charm.
The 2025-2026 edition of Natale tra gli Olivi lights up Garda from November 28, 2025, to January 6, 2026, with the inauguration on Friday, November 28. On Lungolago Regina Adelaide, wooden chalets offer local products and gastronomy; in Piazza del Municipio, the Christmas village features theatrical shows, music, and choirs; in Piazza Catullo, the ice skating rink is set up. Among the attractions are the life-size nativity scene and entertainment for families.
Themed gastronomic events every weekend in the 'Padiglione dei Sapori' (Pavilion of Flavors); detailed show schedule published by the Municipality of Garda.
Garda is located on the Veronese shore of Lake Garda. By car, it can be reached from the A4 motorway (Peschiera del Garda exit) or the A22 Brenner motorway (Affi exit). The nearest train station is Peschiera del Garda, connected to Garda by bus.
