In July, Cerro Veronese, a municipality on the Lessinia plateau in the province of Verona, celebrates its village festival: four days of music, shows, markets, and food and wine stalls in Piazzale Alferia. The event, promoted by Pro Loco Cerro Veronese, is one of the most popular events of the Lessinian summer.
Music and Tribute Bands
The evenings are marked by concerts and tribute bands: in recent editions, groups such as Alinere (tribute to Nomadi), the Deejay Band 2000 Beat, and the Italian Band have performed, accompanied by DJ sets and dance nights. A musical programme ranging from the great classics of Italian song to dance hits.
Flavours and Markets
The food and wine stalls open every evening, offering traditional dishes and the flavours of Lessinia, while rides for children and adults are available throughout the festival.
