Cavatelli with Sausage Festival

The 2025 edition of the Cavatelli with Sausage Festival, the 38th, was held on Monday, August 11, 2025, in Piazza Fuori Porta in Tufillo, with stands opening from 7:00 PM. That year, the volunteers of the Pro Loco Tufillo had also dedicated themselves in the days prior to the handmade preparation of the durum wheat semolina cavatelli, then dressed with the classic local tomato and sausage sauce, with lighter and vegetarian alternatives. The party, animated by music and dancing, confirmed the festival as one of the most followed gastronomic events of the summer in the Chieti hinterland.
