Three days of taste, music, and tradition in honor of San Biagio
In Casale Litta - a municipality in the province of Varese nestled in the green Valbossa - the beginning of September is marked by the Sagra da Casà, organized by the youth cultural association Matt de Casàa. Born from the energy of the town's young people, the festival has become one of the most beloved events in the area, successfully combining gastronomy, music, and tradition in honor of the co-patron San Biagio.
The heart of the festival is the food, with a menu that changes daily: from panzerotti to mushroom tagliatelle, from mushroom risotto to Brescialo spit roast served by reservation, to pizza cooked in an 18th-century oven. A carefully curated gastronomic offering that highlights local products and flavors in a convivial atmosphere.
The evenings are enlivened by live concerts with tribute bands, while the program also includes sporting events - such as the fun run and the Beer Mile organized with the Ciuk Running Team - children's games, and the traditional religious procession. Set up at the Oratory's sports field, in Piazza XXV Aprile, the Sagra da Casà showcases the vitality of a small municipality in the Varese area and the bond between its younger generations and village traditions.
The 2026 edition of the Casà Festival of Casale Litta is expected, as tradition dictates, in early September at the Oratory's sports field, in Piazza XXV Aprile. The Matt de Casàa association will once again offer three days of gastronomy, music, and tradition in honor of the co-patron San Biagio, with a menu that changes daily, live concerts, sporting events, and family activities. The precise dates and detailed program will be announced in the weeks leading up to the festival.
The detailed program for the 2026 edition will be announced by the Matt de Casàa association. The usual structure of the festival includes:
