Cardoncello Mushroom Festival

The 26th Cardoncello Mushroom Festival was held in Spinazzola on Saturday, November 1, and Sunday, November 2, 2025, organized by the local Pro Loco with UNPLI Puglia as part of the "Cardoncello on the Road" circuit.

Saturday opened in the Sala Innocenzo XII with "Delicious Conversations" dedicated to mycology—featuring Pro Loco president Pina Cardilli, Legambiente president Roberto Cinelli, and mycologist Francesco Caputo—followed by a cooking show by chef Giuseppe Lionetti of Altamurgia Tartufi. In the evening, Piazza Plebiscito hosted happy hours, DJ sets, and performances by the bands Eight Eight and Game Boys.

Sunday kicked off with the cardoncello cycling tour organized by Team Bike, guided tours of the historic center and Bauxite Mines with Legambiente, and the opening of the gastronomic trail. On stage, the I Cinematik Band, local dance schools, and musical groups like I Romantici and Band Cascemir performed, closing the event with a mix of flavors, music, and tradition.
