Edition 2025 — Vettù Bean Festival

In 2025, the Carnival bean festival once again brought together the communities of Caprile and Ailoche, in the province of Biella, around the typical Biella bean soup. Organized by the Ailoche Pro Loco with the Vettù and Berta Carnival group, the free distribution renewed a deeply felt Carnival tradition in the small towns of the upper Valsessera valley.

The 2025 edition of the Caprile and Ailoche Carnival Bean Festival took place during the Carnival season, keeping one of the most deep-rooted culinary traditions of the Biella region alive. The Ailoche Pro Loco, together with the Vettù and Berta Carnival group, prepared and distributed the classic bean soup for free, cooked according to the local recipe.

As per custom, the distribution was held in the late morning at the Ailoche Pro Loco headquarters, with the option to eat on-site or take away, involving the inhabitants of Caprile, Ailoche, and neighboring towns in a moment of celebration and conviviality typical of the Piedmontese Carnival.
