Cantine Aperte is one of the most beloved wine events in Italy: on the last weekend of May, the wineries of the Movimento Turismo del Vino open their doors to the public across the country. In the territory of Portogruaro, in the province of Venice, the event involves the wineries of the Lison Pramaggiore appellation, one of the most important wine-growing areas in Eastern Veneto.
Lison, heart of the DOCG
The hamlet of Lison, part of the municipality of Portogruaro, gives its name to the DOCG Lison Classico, of which it is the production heart. During Cantine Aperte, visitors can participate in tastings, vineyard tours, and visits to the winemaking facilities, often accompanied by tastings of local products. An opportunity to get to know the local wines and the work of the producers up close.

Now in its 34th edition in 2026, the event promotes slow and regenerating tourism, where wine dialogues with the landscape, gastronomy, and the various artistic expressions of the territory. Cantine Aperte — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Cantine Aperte, the 34th, takes place on Saturday, May 30, and Sunday, May 31, throughout Italy. In the Portogruaro territory, the wineries of the Lison Pramaggiore appellation open their doors to the public for tastings, vineyard tours, and winemaking facility visits, in a weekend dedicated to the slow discovery of the territory and its wines.
Programme Cantine Aperte 2026
Cantine Aperte 2026 takes place on Saturday, May 30, and Sunday, May 31, with the wineries of the Movimento Turismo del Vino opening to the public. In the Portogruaro territory and the Lison Pramaggiore area:
- Cellar tours and visits to winemaking facilities, generally from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Tastings of wines from the Lison Pramaggiore DOC and Lison Classico DOCG
- Walks through the vineyards and tastings of local products (crostini, local specialties)

How to get there
The wineries are located in the territory of Portogruaro and the Lison Pramaggiore area, in the province of Venice. By car from the A4 motorway, exit at Portogruaro. The hamlet of Lison is a few kilometers from the center.
