24th edition of the Campovalano Truffle Festival

The 2025 edition, the twenty-fourth, was held from July 7 to 13 in Campovalano di Campli (TE), covering an area of over 3,600 square meters with more than a thousand seats. The kitchen, open every evening from 7:00 PM to midnight, paired classic truffle dishes — tagliatelle, gnocchi, ravioli, lasagna, cannelloni, and crêpes — with novelties such as smoked Black Angus carpaccio and wild boar with mushrooms and truffles in limited quantities.

Culture and necropolis

The cultural program included astronomical evenings with the Abruzzo Astronomical Observatory (July 7 and 10), musical performances with Andrea Ferreira (July 8), the chamber orchestra concert with soprano Claudia Nicole Calabrese (July 9), artisanal workshops on bronze casting and glass working (July 11), and the re-enactment of ancient funeral rites (July 12-13). Every evening, free guided night tours of the torch-lit Campovalano Necropolis were held, with free shuttles and a tourist train.
