Camminata in Rosa — Marcia contro la violenza sulle donne

A march of solidarity in the heart of Treviglio

Every summer, coinciding with the Feast of Sant'Anna, the city of Treviglio (province of Bergamo) dedicates an evening to the fight against violence against women with the Camminata in Rosa. Hundreds of people, dressed in pink, parade through the streets of the historic center on a route of a few kilometers, transforming a walk into a collective gesture of awareness and closeness to the victims.

Sport, music, and civil commitment

The event is promoted by the Municipality of Treviglio together with the Trade District, the association "Noi X Treviglio e la Gera d'Adda", Avis, and the Gruppo Sportivo Avis. The meeting point is in Piazza Cameroni; from there the procession crosses the center to conclude in the square with speeches, the symbolic handover of the proceeds to organizations that manage anti-violence centers and shelters, and an evening concert open to all.

More than a walk

Over the years, the Camminata in Rosa has become one of the most heartfelt events of the Trevigliese summer, capable of attracting over five hundred participants. The symbolic registration fee includes the official pink t-shirt and insurance, and the proceeds are donated to support women victims of violence.
