Fermento Festival is the major summer event in Urgnano, a municipality in the province of Bergamo, which every year enlivens the village around its Castle and Piazza Libertà. Originally a music event, it has grown to become a multidisciplinary review capable of attracting tens of thousands of visitors from all over Lombardy.

The festival's formula revolves around three days, three stages, and about thirty live performances: concerts by emerging artists and special guests alternate from afternoon until late at night, in a packed and varied program. Alongside the music, the festival offers street food, a well-stocked vintage market, exhibitions, cultural and artistic moments, and numerous activities designed for children and families.
