Thirty Years of Fara Rock
Fara Rock is the music festival of Fara Gera d'Adda, a municipality in the province of Bergamo on the banks of the Adda river. Founded in 1994, it is now one of the longest-running and most beloved free events in the Bassa bergamasca region, capable of attracting thousands of spectators from all over Lombardy.
Music, Volunteering, and Charity
The festival is organised by the Fara Rock association and run by about a hundred volunteers, who each year set up the festival area at the sports centre, in via Reseghetti, on the riverbanks. The event's motto, "Music Helps", summarises the spirit of the event: admission is free and the proceeds from the food stands are donated to charity. Music and solidarity have gone hand in hand for over thirty years.
Six Evenings on the Adda
For almost a week in July, Fara Rock offers live concerts with food available from the evening and concerts starting late at night. The lineup, built year by year, has seen rock, reggae, and other genre bands perform on stage over the years, in a popular and welcoming atmosphere along the banks of the Adda. A landmark for live music enthusiasts in the province of Bergamo and beyond.
Fara Rock — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Fara Rock is confirmed from July 15th to 20th, with six evenings of live music in the festival area at the sports centre of Fara Gera d'Adda, on the banks of the Adda.
As per tradition, admission is free: the food stands open in the evening and the concerts liven up the nights until late. The proceeds from the food stands, managed by about a hundred volunteers, are donated to charity in line with the motto "Music Helps".

The complete lineup for the six evenings of the 2026 edition will be announced by the organisation on the official channels (website fara-rock.it, Facebook and Instagram @fararockfest) in the weeks leading up to the festival.
