Patronal celebrations of the hamlet of Camino di Oderzo in honour of Saint Bartholomew
The Celebrations of Saint Bartholomew the Apostle, known to everyone as the Camino Festival, are the most cherished summer event in the hamlet of Camino, in Oderzo, in the province of Treviso. The festival revolves around the liturgical feast day of the patron saint, Saint Bartholomew, which falls on August 24th, and extends for about ten days around that date.
The festival has ancient roots and in its modern form dates back to 1968; since 2010 it has been organized by the Saint Bartholomew Parish Association (APSB), which brings together the village volunteers. It is a community festival, where the entire hamlet mobilizes to set up the food stalls and welcome visitors who also come from the neighbouring municipalities of the Opitergino-Mottense area.
The heart of the festival is the evening food stall, with typical Venetian cuisine dishes served at the table or for takeaway. The evenings come alive with live music, rock bands, karaoke, and DJ sets, culminating in the traditional fireworks display that closes the celebrations.
The 2026 edition of the Camino Festival confirms the established format of the Celebrations of Saint Bartholomew the Apostle: about ten days of festivities in August, around the feast day of the patron saint (August 24th). The event is managed by the Saint Bartholomew Parish Association in the parish area of the hamlet of Camino, in Oderzo (TV).
The evening food stall serving Venetian cuisine, the musical evenings, and the closing fireworks display are confirmed.
The detailed program for the 2026 edition, including the schedule of musical evenings and the date of the fireworks display, will be published by the Saint Bartholomew Parish Association on their official channels (website and Facebook page of Sagra Camino) in the weeks leading up to the festival.
The usual structure includes: evening opening of the food stall for the entire duration of the festival, evenings with live music (rock bands), karaoke, and DJ sets, and the fireworks display on the closing evening.
Camino is a hamlet of Oderzo (TV), reachable by car from the SS53 Postumia. Oderzo is connected by bus to Treviso, Conegliano, and Pordenone.
The festival takes place in August, for about ten days around the feast of Saint Bartholomew (August 24th).
Free entry to the festival area; food and drinks at the food stall are payable.
