Calici di Stelle is the great summer festival of Italian wine promoted by the National Association of Wine Cities (Città del Vino) and the Wine Tourism Movement (Movimento Turismo del Vino). In Conegliano, in the province of Treviso, the event chooses an exceptional setting: the Castle overlooking the city, reachable along the path of the ancient walls that climbs from Piazza Cima to the fortress.
Wineries of Conegliano Valdobbiadene
The event offers a tasting journey that brings together dozens of local wineries, featuring wines from Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG and Piave, accompanied by typical products from the stands. A wine walk at sunset, between the castle walls and the panorama of the UNESCO World Heritage Prosecco hills.
An evening of history and taste
The event combines wine tasting with the opening of the castle museum and the opportunity to discover the historic sites on the hill, from the small church of Madonna della Neve to the ancient fortifications. A free shuttle bus service usually connects Piazza Cima to the castle, making access easy. Conegliano is also the Italian Wine City 2026-2027, an award that further enhances the area's wine events.

The national event Calici di Stelle returns every summer on the nights of San Lorenzo. In Conegliano, the event is traditionally held at the Castle, with wine tastings from the Conegliano Valdobbiadene and Piave wineries amidst the ancient walls.

How to get there
Conegliano is served by the train station (Venice-Udine line) and the A27 motorway (Conegliano exit). The Castle can be reached on foot from the center along the path of the ancient walls; a free shuttle bus is usually active from Piazza Cima.
